Enrichment Icons Competition

Get your ideas professionally produced by a graphic designer – and see them in the next version of Avalon Achieve®!

The next version of Avalon Achieve® will use icons that represent the five categories of enrichment and we want to give you the chance to have your designs featured. You can use any medium you prefer – e.g. painting, collage, drawing, digital, etc. As long as you can take a photo of your designs to send to us, the only limit is your imagination!

What do I need to do?

Design five icons – each one needs to encompass one of the five enrichment categories as follows:

Civic Engagement

Examples include volunteering, debating, school democracy and community engagement

Arts and Culture

Examples include taking part in and having live experience of music, art, dance, theatre, other expressive arts, visits to museums and galleries.

Nature, Outdoors and Adventure

Examples include time outdoors, climate education and sustainability projects, gardening, residentials and camps.

Sport and Physical Activities

Examples include individual and team sports, physical activities like dance, fitness activities or cycling, representing the school, attending live events.

Developing Wider Life and Future Skills

Examples include digital literacy, STEM clubs, cooking, managing finances and enterprise.

There are lots of examples of good icon design around. By all means use these suggestions for inspiration but please ensure your designs are original works of your own:

Who Can Enter?

Students that attend a school using Avalon Achieve on the close date of 25th September 2026 can enter.

When Do Entries Close?

Entries close on Friday 25th September 2026 at 5pm.

When Will the Winners be Announced?

Winners will be notified using the email address provided by Friday 9th October 2026.
